1800 Mint Set with Gold

The 1800 Mint Set without gold contains two copper coins (Half Cent and Cent) and three silver coins (a Half Dime, Dime and Dollar). None of the 1800 issues is a premium date, and aside from the normal challenge of locating nice, high grade early type coins, this set should present no other unusual difficulty. The gold portion includes two additional coins; a Half Eagle and and Eagle. Like the copper and silver coins, none of the gold coins are major rarities and although the Eagle mintage considerable lower than the 1799 or the 1801, values are only a bit higher.
