Barber Quarters, Proof (1892-1915)

There are 24 coins in the Barber quarter proof series, covering the years of 1892 through 1915. These low mintage coins range from the low of 380 for the 1915 to 1,245 for the 1892. Even the rarest coin of the series, the 1915, has a population of 20 coins in Proof 65 or better condition. (See the Barber dime proofs introduction for an amazing coincidence in rarity.)

This is a series that can be put together Proof 65, Proof 66, and even in Proof 67! Some of the dates come with beautiful cameo devices, and every date can be found (at times) with attractive, original toning.
