详细说明: 1851 Augustus Humbert $50 Gold. Reeded Edge. K-7. Rarity-7. 887 THOUS, Target Reverse. VF-25 (PCGS). This is by far the rarer of the two-known varieties of the 1851 Reeded Edge, 887 THOUS Augustus Humbert Fifty. It is attributable by looking at the reverse, on which we see smaller concentric circles in the engine and an enclosing ribbon that is away from the rim.<br /> A very nice-looking VF, both sides of this coin exhibit deep-rose outlines to the devices. The balance of the features possess equally bold olive-khaki patina that further supports the original appearance of this piece. Plenty of bold definition remains despite the presence of moderate wear, and even much of the obverse periphery still retains the lettering. Scattered digs, nicks and rim bruises are commensurate for the grade in a California Gold Rush-era ""slug.""
