- 1761/0-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-45, var. Second Semester. AU-55 (PCGS). 30.2 grains. This overdate variety - with only a bold 0 underdigit to the second 1 and no trace of an underdigit at the adjacent 6 - is unlisted in the 2004 edition of the Vlack reference on French billon coinage in the Americas. Beautifully toned in medium gray and rose. The strike is trivially off center to 3 o'clock on both sides, tops of a few other peripheral letters affected by minor planchet striations.
