详细说明: EX. WELLS FARGO NEVADA GOLD, as noted on label. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE? About a gemmy, gem, gem Saint? This piece is delightful and truly drool worthy with rich, satiny mint bloom and luster present over immaculate surfaces (even with powerful magnification, no flaws are noted). Wisps of dusty rose color accent the rich golden surfaces. Struck just two years without the Motto IN GOD WE TRUST on the reverse above the sun (where it is placed on subsequent issues beginning in 1909). The design elements are fully struck. The Wells Fargo Nevada Gold Hoard contains more than 15,000 gold pieces, many of which are Saint-Gaudens $20 gold coins that were believed to have been acquired in 1917. They were housed in their bags for decades until they were opened and counted in the 1970s and later resealed. The collection was later acquired by Spectrum Numismatics in 1997. As you can see, the quality of the overall hoard was spectacular! PCGS 9,953, NGC 4,922. An example sold in July 2023 for $3,138 and one in May 2023 for $3,600.
