We have never seen a 35-D nickel that looks like this! WOW! This has got to be the most beautiful example of this conditionally rare late date Buffalo nickel that can be imagined. Everything about it is SUPERB! Every detail on both sides look like they were carved from a sheet of fresh smooth ice! The luster is amazing and it really makes the stunning toned surfaces stand out dramatically. This is one of the more eye-poppingly toned examples we have seen, boasting gold, pink, and sky-blue shades can all be seen in varying degrees as the coin is rotated in a light. PCGS 16, NGC 6, CAC 3. The toning and eye appeal surpass that of the Angel Dees coin we sold in December 2016 for $10,281 (which was not CAC). The only CAC-approved example sold in August 2012 - even years may as well be forever ago! Clearly these do not appear with any kind of frequency and there is just a single 67+ graded finer, which has never sold in auction. This stunning coin will bring a very strong price, and if it broke the record of $22,540 set back in August 2006, we would not be shocked. Good luck! Cert. Number 37813772 PCGS # 003975
