- Lot 446 1856 N-2 R1 Italic 5 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved.Lustrous medium brown and steel with 15% of the obverse showing mint red. The obverse is quite lustrous, the reverse less so but still nice. The only notable marks are a speck of dark toning on the rim at star 4 and a fine horizontal pin scratch from LIB to the dentils left of star 5. LDS, die state f. The fields are flowlined and there are several fine die cracks on the obverse. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
