- Circa 1860 copy of the Getz "Half Dollar" by William Idler. Musante GW-27, Baker-25M, var. Silvered Copper or Brass. “COPY" removed. MS-63 (PCGS). 33.9 mm. 217.6 grains. Glittering silvered surfaces seem to have been applied after the word COPY was removed, as there is no evidence of the tooling that necessarily transpired. Light silver over about 75% of the surface, while the remainder is mottled blue-gray, gold and rose.
