- D.W. COLLECTION. KM-34, FR-190. Struck at the Philadelphia mint as payment for oil contracts by ARAMCO. The obverse shows the fineness and weight, while the reverse has the Mint seal. A popular issue, collected among world gold collectors, as well as U.S. coins. Struck after the 1933 Act which ended the use of gold in the U.S., it is amazing what the government will do for oil. Rich orange golden patina and a bold strike (not always seen) create a brilliant, eye appealing coin. A few light marks commensurate with the assigned grade. PCGS 16, NGC 21. The finest graded at either service are graded MS63. These have brought between $2,000 and $2,500 when offered in recent auctions. Rare any finer. Cert. Number 17253162 PCGS # 557990
