- A pleasing AU example of this very important and scarce date $20 Lib. A very low mintage date, with only 4,430 struck, this date is mostly seen in XF and AU grades. The surfaces retain a certain flash from the original Prooflike luster. The details are nicely and crisply rendered with just some minor signs of wear on the high points and in the fields. Contact marks are noted on both sides, acquired naturally during the course of normal circulation and none are singularly distracting. The eye appeal is better than most, which often come quite choppy. PCGS 12, NGC 17. None of these are CAC approved. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $15,275 in September 2016, and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $12,000. We think this coin will bring a strong bid. Cert.
