- 41.0 mm. 594.7 grains. Edge marked (cornucopia) 1ARGENT, distinguishing this as an early 20th century product of the Paris Mint. Beautiful golden toning joins other pastel tones around the peripheries and across the antique silver grey fields. A beautiful medal, well made, gorgeously toned, and nicely preserved. Only the most trivial hairlines keep this from gem status, basically invisible on the obverse and only slightly more noticeable on the reverse. The rims have been filed at the mint, as issued. Any silver strike, even a 20th century one, is desirable in this series.
