- NEW ZEALAND. American Fleet Silver Medal, 1908. PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. Morel-1908/5. Diameter: 19 mm. Finest and only example certified by PCGS. A moderately toned medal with added loop at the top, with some bright luster in the protected areas. Struck to commemorate the visit of the American naval fleet in New Zealand. At the order of President Theodore Roosevelt, the United State Navy set out on a friendly display-of-power mission around the globe that began on December 16, 1907.
