- 1848 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-13. Rarity-4. AU-53 (PCGS). CAC. Lightly to moderately toned in somewhat mottled olive-russet and silver gray, this is a boldly defined and suitably lustrous About Uncirculated coin. With a relatively limited mintage of 580,000 pieces the 1848 is a scarcer half dollar of its era, problem free survivors such as this particularly desirable among specialists. Provenance: From the E.
