FROM THE ISSAQUAH ESTATE Even though CAC did not bean it, we really do like it. Our sister company Legend Numismatics placed this coin way back in 2007-and they say they would again. Overall, the surfaces are exceptionally clean and smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few light scuffs and widely scattered ticks. Nothing is serious or stands out. For an 1847, this coin has a good luster. Both sides are evenly covered by an original mix of pale reddish gold/pale golden brown/pale off white colors. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. There is no discoloration on the knees. The eye appeal is wonderful! PCGS 11, NGC 9, CAC 0. The last example to sell in auction brought $5,875 back in 2015-4 long years ago! This is a nice and very fresh coin that has been off the market for 12 years. We think it will sell for closer to the current Collectors Universe Value of $10,000. This coin WILL be a very nice addition to any choice/GEM set! Cert. Number 10351334 PCGS # 6934
