Rare 2017 BTCC 1 Bitcoin in Silver with Box and Certificate of Authenticity Proof-66 Deep Cameo (PCGS) 2017 BTCC 1 Bitcoin. Loaded. Firstbits 1CMFAPtc9a. Serial No. S00086. Series S. Silver. Proof-66 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Loaded with 1 BTC. This is a rare and tightly held issue with only 100 examples struck. Along with the 2 Bitcoin also from Series S, these pieces represent the only coins struck in Silver across the entire BTCC product line. The production quality reflects the strong attention to detail previously seen on the more common Titanium issues. This is the first example of this type we have had the pleasure of offering and it is accompanied by only 3 other examples graded at PCGS. Struck in 1oz of .999 fine silver with intense reflectivity throughout, this is an absolute prize for advanced collectors. The BTCC S series was first announced on September 18, 2017 via the BitcoinTalk.org forums. Their limited mintage of 100 coins was made evenem more exclusive by the fact that they could "only be shipped to [a] specified mainland China address or collected in person from BTCC's offices in Shanghai, China" and were not available internationally. They were funded with fresh BTC mined before the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) fork in August 2017, so they also contain 1BCH in addition to 1BTC. For many physical crypto producers, the silver composition is reserved for either the higher denominations or lower mintages of a series. The present Series S 1 BTC offers a combination of both qualities. Obvious parallels can be drawn to the flagship 1 BTC silver issues produced by Casascius and Lealana near the end of the "early" physical crypto era from 2011 to 2014. Also included with this coin is the original box and Certificate of Authenticity confirming the public address and serial number.
