- SWITZERLAND. Swiss Confederation Shooting Festival in Aarau Bronze Medal, 1924. PCGS SPECIMEN-64. R-45d; Martin-36. By Hans Frei, Basel and Julius Schwyzer. 50mm. Obverse: Legend in five lines; Reverse: Two partially-clad males standing facing one another, each clasping hands and holding rifle set upon ground; Swiss cross and rays between them; legend and dates in exergue below. The color and surfaces of this piece augment the simple design composition to render this a rather attractive medal. Note that the "R-45c" designation on the holder is inconsistent with the most current edition of Richter; R-45d is now the correct designation for a bronze specimen. Estimate: $80 - $120.
