Obverse: Arms of Solothurn and Olten superimposed on crossed rifles, ribbon, and sprigs of oak, legends above and below; Reverse: Female allegory, facing right, exhorting soldier and pointing to legend at upper right - "Hearts and Hands for the Fatherland", city view in the background.
