- While NGC has mounted this coin with the reverse up in the holder, in truth both sides possess uncommonly rich and vivid toning in a silver dollar of the Peace design type. Admittedly the reverse shows a greater variety of colors, and they are more mottled in distribution than the halo of orange-russet that frames an otherwise steely-blue obverse. The key date status of the 1928 further enhances the significance and desirability of this spectacular Peace dollar.
