- Great Britain. Warwickshire--Birmingham. 1793 Birmingham Halfpenny / Hedgehogs Shield Halfpenny Token. D&H-50. Copper. MS-62 BN (PCGS). 118.6 grains. A second example of this TAL related Conder token, this one with mottled olive overtones to otherwise autumn-brown surfaces. Much faded mint color remains. Softly struck in the centers, especially on the obverse, yet sharp elsewhere. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Purchased from Failla Numismatics, via eBay, date not recorded.
