- This is a truly SPECTACULAR example, tied for second FINEST graded with just a single coin graded finer at PCGS. Wonderfully watery fields show the utmost depth and original clarity from the time of striking. Just a touch of the palest pastel iridescent toning. Sharply struck devices. The surfaces are essentially without flaw of any kind and the eye appeal top notch! PCGS 52, NGC 26, CAC 20. There are five coins in this lofty state of preservation with just a single, solitary example graded PR68. None have sold in auction, but a PR67 CAC sold in our December 2019 Regency Auction for $1,410 and the PR68 CAC sold for $7,050 in July 2016.
