- SWITZERLAND. Schwyz Cantonal Shooting Festival in Einsiedeln Silver Medal, 1889. PCGS SPECIMEN-62. R-1076b; Martin-622. By C. Theiler, Lucerne, and Vasco L. Schlütter, Genf. 46mm. Obverse: Seated rifleman receiving refreshments from a standing woman, set against the cross of Switzerland with the Coat of Arms of Schwyz on the ground to the left; perimeter legend above and in exergue below; Reverse: View of the forest town set against an alpine background, with six shields above; legend in exergue below. An attractive specimen with silvery white lustrous surfaces; some hairlines indicative of the grade. Note that the "R-1076a" designation on the holder is in error; R-1076b is the correct designation for a silver specimen in the most recent edition of Richter. Estimate: $150 - $300.
