- YEMEN. 1/2 Ahmadi Riyal, AH 1379 (1959). Sana'a Mint. al-Nasir Ahmad bin Yahya (Imam Ahmad). PCGS MS-65. KM-Y-16.2. Krause claims this issue was struck using blanks from the punched out centers of Maria Theresa Talers. This resplendent Gem is exceptionally well preserved with bright silver gray surfaces and a slight champagne hue at the rims. The crude nature of the flan is evident because of roughness around the rims and edges, but most design detail is well formed at the centers.
