- GREAT BRITAIN. Crown, 1928. London Mint. George V. PCGS MS-65. KM-836; S-4036. Mintage: 9,034 pieces. A simply exquisite Gem with superior technical quality and outstanding eye appeal, both sides of this coin are bursting with frosty luster. Gently toned a consistent magenta gray that blushes slightly in intensity across the portrait, while the reverse alternates between flaxen amber and bright virescence depending on orientation. Sharp to full in strike, and remarkably smooth for the issue to preclude notice of even a single troublesome abrasion.
