详细说明: 1793 C-2 R3 NGC graded Mint State-62 Brown. Choice glossy chocolate brown, the highpoints a couple shades darker than the fields and protected areas. The surfaces are covered with evi¬ dence of very fine die rust, as always with this variety, but there is little if any friction on the highpoints. No spots, stains, or corrosion of any kind. The only defects are a faint planchet lamination in the field right of the bottom of the cap and a thin planchet fissure slanting down through the 3 in the date, both defects as struck. Otherwise this example is flawless. Well struck and nicely centered, the obverse off very slightly to K-6 and the reverse centering nearly perfect. Outstanding eye appeal, especially for a 1793 half cent. LDS with the reverse rotated 45 degrees CW from the designed head-to-head orientation. EAC grade AU55. PCGS# 1000.
