- A Second Mint State 1889-CC Morgan Dollar 1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-62 (PCGS). OGH. A pleasing MS-62 example of this key date Carson City Mint Morgan dollar. Essentially untoned on the reverse, the obverse is dusted with the lightest sandy-gold iridescence. Both sides are fully struck with a softly frosted texture to the devices. The fields are modestly reflective in finish, a feature best appreciated with the aid of a strong light source. A thin graze in the lower left obverse field is mentioned for accuracy, although it is somewhat concealed by the aforementioned toning. PCGS# 7190. NGC ID: 2559.
