29.3 mm, 1.4 to 1.7 mm thick. 137.0 grains. Marked BRONZE (faintly) on edge at 12 o'clock, indicating a Paris Mint restrike. Differing from the type cataloged as Betts-389 by having the initials D.V. for (DuVivier) below the king's bust instead of F.M. Deep golden-brown in color on both sides. Obverse struck a little off center to the upper left, but resulting in only slightly thinner denticulation in that area. A handsome piece.
