This is a seriously beautiful, multicolored tone UBER quality SUPERB GEM. Tied for FINEST graded, but not only is this one of the FINEST graded examples, we truly doubt that another one could match this one in terms of its bold, totally original toning and stunning visual allure! Beautifully toned on both sides, the coin clearly sat unmolested, untouched in an old envelope where Mother Nature did her magic! Shades of tangerine, lemon-yellow, lime-green and brilliant lilac-silver are vivid and the colors are accented by a strong, original mint luster that beams boldly throughout! Sharply struck, the devices stand out with crisply defined design elements. We have seen very few Walkers that look like this, this is an AMAZING coin! If you are looking for a toned example for type, this is it! PCGS 7, NGC 2, CAC 4.The last toned Walker we offered in this grade was a more common date (1942 PCGS MS68 CAC Pop 6/1) from our sale of the Valley View Collection, December 2019, which brought $28,200. That coin was superb, but this coin is truly spectacular and with NONE finer, this is it for the FINEST toned example and truly most visually appealing! Cert. Number 38289422 PCGS # 6601.00
