Legend Rare Coin Auctions is proud to have been consigned this coin, the FINEST Proof 1883 3CN that exists! This coin is more than deserving of its lofty designation. As you would expect, the mirrors are ultra deep and beam like a blast of electricity from all over. The mirrors are absolute in terms of clarity, cleanliness, and flash. When you twirl this coin you are nearly blinded. The contrast is intense. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is totally jaw dropping! PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. This is the only 67+ DCAM There are NO auction records for anything over PR66. This coin was sold in our September 2018 Regency Auction for $17,625 and there is a Collectors Universe Value of $20,000. The only other APRs for 1883 in any DCAM grade is from 2003 for a 66 DCAM and 2010 for a 67 DCAM. This is an extremely rare coin to find in DCAM, despite the high mintage of 6,609.
