Obverse: View of the Morgarten Monument at Lake Ägeri; Swiss cross above and divided legend on either side of the monument; Reverse: Swiss Confederate hurling a rock at the Battle of Morgarten; perimeter legend. Listed as "Rare" in Richter. Decidedly contrasting peace and war imagery on the two sides of this medal. An attractive steel-gray example of the type. Estimate: $150 - $250.
