详细说明: 1851 Braided Hair Cent. N-6. Rarity-1. MS-67 BN (PCGS). A phenomenal condition rarity that belongs in the finest type set or specialized large cent cabinet. Silky smooth in appearance with a soft satin texture, the surfaces are at the threshold of numismatic perfection. Sharply defined for the die state, the focal features in and around the centers are crisp. Rich antique copper patina dominates the outward appearance and explains the BN color designation from PCGS, although we do note faint remnants of faded rose-red luster in isolated areas. As well, direct viewing angles call forth iridescent cobalt blue highlights that further enhance already memorable eye appeal. Provenance purposes alone compel us to mention a dull abrasion in the obverse field that is out of the way near the border between stars 3 and 4.
