A wonderful example of a tougher date. Smooth satiny surfaces are super clean. All we found with a strong glass was a tiny toning spot. This coin is clean! A strong luster enlivens even and totally original toning that evenly covers both sides. The toning is a deeper golden brown/soft nickel color. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The overall eye appeal of this GEM is quite pleasing!
PCGD 66, NGC 27, CAC 13. The last PCGS CAC MS66 to sell via auction brought $16,800 in March 2020. The published values are ridiculously out of touch for this coin. The PCGS CAC value is $4,380. Now is a great time to build any kind of MS Nickel set. Good luck!
