- 1741-C Sou Marque. Caen Mint. Vlack-58. Rarity-8. EF-40 (PCGS). 34.0 grains. Extremely rare as the perfect date variety of 1741 sou marque from this Norman mint. A little rough, pearly-gray and antique gold in color, minor reverse striations at lower right. There are interesting obverse die breaks around the mintmark area. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
