VERY HIGH END! Satin, frosty mint luster blooms in the fields. The surfaces are clean and free of any distracting marks, as you would expect for a SUPERB GEM of this lofty grade. The details are very sharply struck up with all the details of Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee crisply defined. Pleasing pale gold tone attests to the awesome originality! PCGS 290, NGC 186, CAC 98. There are only seven MS67+'s graded at NGC and none have sold in auction since March 2011. More recently a PCGS/CAC example sold in the 2018 FUN auction for $2,040 and the current Collector's Universe value is listed at $2,500. There are 13 graded MS68 at NGC finer.
