- SWITZERLAND. Nidwalden Cantonal Shooting Festival in Beckenried Bronze Medal, ND (ca. 1921-59). PCGS SPECIMEN-64. R-1035a; Martin-886. By Huguenin, Le Locle, and Theodor von Deschwanden. 50mm. Engraved and awarded to E. Hirschi. Obverse: Arms of Nidwald above, located between a laurel and oak sprig; inscribed exergue below, perimeter legend; Reverse: Two citizen soldiers being warned of an approaching enemy soldier by a young boy; anepigraphic. At least in terms of the 1921 issue of this medal, it is listed as "Extremely Rare" by Richter.
