THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION This is a "GEM" AU JR-2, and it has a MONSTER, multicolored look. Highly lustrous, there are very distinct claims to a full Mint State grade. It is only under magnification that the barest trace of circulation can be found. We believe this coin would have been described as Brilliant Uncirculated in the days before 3rd party grading. Vivid, multicolored album toning frames brilliant silvery centers on both sides. This coin has a stunning look for the issue, regardless of grade--certainly the nicest AU example we have seen. PCGS 29, NGC 28, CAC 6. There are three in AU58+ and this coin sold for $6,463 in October 2016 (a weaker market). The current CAC CPG value in AU58 is $6,310 and $6,940 in MS60.
