From the RanJack Collection. Conditionally, the 1904-S is a very scarce date in GEM and extremely RARE any finer. A hint of striking weakness can be seen in Liberty's fore curls, but everywhere else in the design, the devices are nicely struck. Even using a strong glass, only a few teeny bagmarks are noted, but none detract from the overall superb eye appeal. PCGS 160, NGC 30, CAC 22. There are only NINE examples graded MS65+ at PCGS. Only two NON-CAC examples have sold via auction, the most recent in June 2016 for $9,694 and the other in February 2014 for $15,275. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500. Keep in mind a PCGS/CAC MS66 last sold for $32,900 in the 2016 FUN auction. This HIGH END GEM will fit into any high ranking GEM Morgan set! Cert. Number 06984293 PCGS # 7294
