- 1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. BB-13, B-9. Rarity-4. Two Leaves. VF-25 (PCGS). Lightly toned in silver-gray with a touch of sandy-tan intermingled here and there, this piece is boldly defined over all major design elements. Although once regarded as a significant rarity among 1795 Flowing Hair dollar die marriages (1881 Haseltine Type-Table: "very rare"), BB-13 is now classified as moderately scarce with 300 to 500 examples known (per Q. David Bowers, 2013). On the other hand, this variety is still considerably scarcer than the "common" 1795 Flowing Hair dollar die marriages, which are BB-27 for the Three Leaves Guide Booklisting and BB-21 for the Two Leaves.
