- Contemporary Counterfeit 1710-D 30 Deniers, or Mousquetaire. In Imitation of Lyon Mint. Vlack-329. Rarity-8. EF-45 (PCGS). 30.6 grains. A very nice example of this extremely rare contemporary counterfeit. Reversed Ns in legends and blundered E in PIECE betray the coin's origin. Good, rich rose-brown color on both sides.
