详细说明: 1833 Capped Bust Half Dime. V-Unlisted, LM-2. Rarity-6+. EF-40 (PCGS). One of the rarest of the Capped Bust half dime series varieties and a coin certain to delight any specialist. The strike is sharp throughout and the surfaces average for a lightly circulated half dime of this era. Toned with gunmetal-gray on both sides. Identifiable by the last 3 high in the date, on the reverse the top of T is higher than E of STATES. Condition Census quality for this rare variety, which is 62, 58, 55, 55, 40, 40, 40. All the coins in this census are known to be held in advanced variety collections and not likely to be available anytime soon, and the present offering is available because one collector was able to obtain a higher grade example of this variety.
