详细说明: The 1892 is one of the most popular Proof Barber quarters for high grade type purposes. The Mint achieved a generous mintage of 1,245 coins in anticipation of increased demand from contemporary collectors current with the launch of the three new Barber silver series, most examples of which are expertly produced. Indeed, in the finest grades the eye appeal of the typical Proof 1892 quarter is outstanding, and this Deep Cameo Gem is no exception. Fully struck with strong field to device contrast, the surfaces are untoned apart from a tiny, faint spot on Liberty's neck that appears to be the only impediment to an even higher grade.<p>The Type II Reverse accounts for the majority of Proof quarters coined in this year. Q. David Bowers estimates the mintage of the Type I Reverse hub at only 100 pieces in the 2019 edition of his <em>Guide Book of Barber Silver Coins</em>.
