- Lot 342 1853 N-1 R2+ PCGS graded MS62 Brown.Frosty light olive and steel brown with flowline luster showing in the fields and protected areas. This cent has mint state eye appeal but there is a touch of friction on the highest points of the devices. The only defects are some weakly struck dentils under star 13 and a very light rim bruise at star 4. M-LDS, die state b late. The fields are flowlined, the earlier die lines on the reverse are gone, and a few of the die lines at the inner curl are still visible. Our grade is AU50.The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 3 finer: 1 in 63, 1 in 64, 1 in 65.
