- SWITZERLAND. Aargau Cantonal Shooting Festival in Aarau Silver Medal, 1908. PCGS SPECIMEN-64. R-32b; Martin-27. By Hans Frei, Basel. 28mm. Obverse: Stylized eagle facing left, holding Arms of Aargau in its right talon, perimeter legend; Reverse: William Tell's young son, facing left, holding aloft the arrow-pierced apple, legend to left. A charming medal in an emerging modernist style. Listed as "Rare" in Richter. Note that the "R-32a" designation on the holder is in error; R-32b is the correct designation for a silver specimen in the most recent edition of Richter. Estimate: $150 - $250.
