LM-1. A totally original and very pleasing VF example of this scarce early type. Only 15,600 half dimes were struck from a single set of dies. The presently offered example has nice definition and pleasing medium toned surfaces that will appeal to any picky collector of mid-grade circulated early type and certainly worthy of a premium bid. PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 1. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $3,290, but that coin had some serious marks. This coin sold in auction for April 2012, realizing $4,025, close to what the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at ($4,000). Now with CAC-approval, this coin should see strong bidding. Cert.
