This icy-lustrous SUPERB GEM nickel is tied for second finest graded and bested by just a single MS67 finer. The devices are razor sharp and frosty, standing out against the exceptionally high end fields. There is a remnant of a partial fingerprint on the reverse that blends with the lovely, light, delicate pastel iridescent tone. A tiny tick or two, invisible to the naked eye are noted for the sake of accuracy, but clearly they do not affect the amazing eye appeal. PCGS 33, NGC 10, CAC 13. There are seven examples on the PCGS Population Report in MS66+ and the most recent PCGS/CAC example to sell in auction realized $2,880 in the 2018 FUN auction and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,250. Just a single MS67 is graded finer, is not CAC-approved, and has never sold in auction, but PCGS estimates a value of $12,500, making this a VERY respectable coin for a very high ranking PCGS Registry Set. Good luck! Cert. Number 25658764 PCGS # 3870
