- 1739 Admiral Vernon Porto Bello Medal. Vernon's Portrait and Icons. Adams-Chao PBvi 6-G, M-G 98. Rarity-5. Bath Metal. AU-58 (PCGS). 37.7 mm. This wonderfully original piece exhibits dusky olive-gray patina to otherwise deep brassy-gold surfaces. Boldly to sharply defined overall with a hard, satiny texture that is free of troublesome marks. We offered an NGC AU-58 example from the PBvi 6-G dies in our New York Americana Sale of January 2011 that brought $747.50.
