- 1740-P Sou Marque. Dijon Mint. Vlack-164. Rarity-5. AU-50 (PCGS). 31.8 grains. Pretty rose-gray iridescence to frosty surfaces that retain much silvering. Well defined overall, although the obverse impression is drawn trivially to 7 o'clock, reverse a bit more so to 12 o'clock. A few faint pin scratches in and around the center on the latter side are mentioned solely for accuracy, as they are barely discernible in hand. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
