Obverse: Overlapping Arms of Mendrisio and Ticino with shooting hat above, all resting on a bed of oak and olive branches; Reverse: Conspiracy of the Grütli in 1307 which led to Swiss independence. Listed as "Rare" in Richter. A charming medallic window into Swiss history and culture, augmented by superb hints of gunmetal, aqua, and violet toning that emphasize the design elements.
