- A rarity among Matte Proof cents, the 1915 is quite difficult to find so fine! Exceptionally well struck with extremely high quality and clean sandblast surfaces, this brick-red GEM is a real PQ standout! Uniquely patinated, both sides show splashes of varied RED toning. The eye appeal is exceptional and the technical quality is all there and then some! PCGS 7, NGC 0, CAC 3. The most recent example sold in the 2020 FUN auction for $8,400, but before that, one sold for $11,100 in May 2019. The CAC CPG value is $13,900 and the Collectors Universe value is listed at $14,000.
