FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION A lovely, satiny GEM. Sharply struck, this pleasing 1901 nickel has a delicate blush of iridescent gold at the rims, and just a few tiny ticks which account for the assigned grade. We are dumbfounded as to why CAC did not bean this one. PCGS 196, NGC 159. The last non-CAC NGC-graded example sold for $423 in September 2016 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $375. Housed in a slightly older holder, this coin is fresh to the market and should bring a healthy bid. Cert. Number 1632906-007 PCGS # 3862.00
