- SWITZERLAND. St. Gallen Cantonal Shooting Festival Silver Medal, ND (ca. 1951). PCGS SPECIMEN-66. R-1237b; Martin-584. By Holy Frères, St.-Inier. 27mm. Engraved and awarded to Ludwig Lanter of Untereggen in 1951. Obverse: Armored warrior, facing right, with winged helmet; Reverse: Fasces of St. Gallen at left, superimposed on laurel sprig, perimeter legend at right and below, Swiss cross and rays above, engraved inscription in central right field. Note that the award year on this medal is not one noted by Richter. An attractive medal design clearly reflecting back to the artistic styles popular at the time of its 1911 debut.
